A Bay Area native, Rob Landsness joins the Pacific Union Real Estate team working with top producing agent Carey Miller. Specializing in off market listings in San Francisco, Rob has quickly found success by consistently meeting and exceeding the needs of his clients. Coming from a family of real estate investors, Rob has developed an intimate knowledge of the city having lived in various parts of the city over the years; including the Marina, Pacific Heights, and SOMA.
Specializing in off market listings in San Francisco as well as luxury estates in the wine country and beyond, Rob quickly found success by consistently meeting and exceeding the needs of his clients. Coming from a family of real estate investors, Rob has developed an intimate knowledge of the Bay Area from growing up in the Peninsula and living in the Napa Valley and San Francisco.

Before entering the residential real estate market, Rob engaged in high-end wine management services and the procurement and sale of blue chip wines to hundreds of collector clients worldwide. The management and building of these collections ranged in scale from a few thousand dollars to multi-million dollar investments with locations spanning the globe. Rob helped manage one of the largest private wine collection in the world, valued at over $100 million.
Rob is actively involved in the local community through charities such as The Guardsmen. He is a former Chairman of the St. Francis Yacht Club’s Dining Committee, Wine Committee and is an active member of the Olympic Club. Rob’s formal education includes a degree with honors (Dean’s List) from New York University and the Thacher School.
Born and raised in Chicago, Carey started his residential real estate career as a licensed assistant to a top-producer with @properties, the #1 real estate firm in Chicago. He cut his teeth on new development marketing and residential brokerage in 2005. Carey managed team transactions and listings, implemented team marketing, and closed millions of his own personal sales volume.
Carey’s biotech background brought him to San Francisco in 2012 where he reconnected with real estate in 2014. City Point Realty introduced Carey to commercial leasing and investment in addition to residential sales. In 2016 when Carey joined Pacific Union International he finally returned to his first passion, residential home buyers and sellers. Pacific Union, much like @properties, is a locally-owned market leader. Consisting of the metro area’s top producing agents, Pacific Union partnered with 138 affiliate brokerages and 1350 offices in 46 countries worldwide. In their free time both Carey and Robert volunteer their time with The Guardsmen, a non-profit organization supporting at-risk youth from San Francisco and the East Bay with camperships and scholarship. In 2016 The Guardsmen raised $1.7 million and sent 2500+ children to camp and another 250+ to school.
A Bay Area native, Eleanor recently joined the team as the Marketing Assistant. She graduated from the University of Washington in December 2018. Throughout college, she worked on marketing for a commercial real estate firm and soon found her way into the residential field. She loves interior design and the character that San Francisco holds in its real estate market. She brings her marketing and communication skills to the team and looks forward to growing the R + C brand in the place she calls home!
